The AA

A fabulous location, and warm hospitality await you at Cobdens hotel, a 200 year old inn on the A5, five miles west of Betws-Y-Coed in the heart of  the Snowdonia National Park.  A haven for mountain walkers and climbers for generations; Cobdens is the place to stay if you are looking to enjoy the many wonders of North Wales in an atmosphere of fun, informality and comfort.

Under the personal management of proprietor Roland Jones and his daughter Emily, Cobdens is once again 'The Mecca' for outdoor enthusiasts and sightseers in Northern Snowdonia as it has been at many times in its long history.

All 17 guest rooms are en-suite, we are pet friendly and open to groups and societies for functions of all kinds. The food is fresh and hearty, the evening menu has a touch of sophistication and there is a wide selections of bar meals and a children's menu. The main bar and the famous 'mountain bar' offer a great selection of local real ales, keg beers, a good wine list and a fine list of single malt whiskies. We regularly hold live music nights featuring some of the best bands in North Wales so whether you're looking for a lively time or an escape from the rat-race Cobdens is the place to come.
